Country Fried Apples
Intro
Fried apples like your grandma used to make. Set apart by simplicity.
Ingredients
- 8 Granny Smith Apples (medium sized & peeled)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Butter (1 stick)
- 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon Powder (to taste)

Instructions
- Peel the 8 granny smith apples and then slice them into wedges.
- Add the 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick) to the large skillet and melt it on medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add in the 1 cup of sugar and the 2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder (to taste). Stir them together until the sugar is melted and you have a uniform mixture.
- Add in the 8 granny smith apples (medium sized & peeled) to your mixture, and cook on medium to medium-high heat until they have softened to the consistency you desire (5 to 8 minutes).
